LOS MIMBRES Casa de Campo is a venture by Nery Coitinho and Daniel Rovella, who more than ten years ago decided to adapt their stay to share it with those visitors eager for sustainable tourist destinations.
Located north of the department of Rocha, LOS MIMBRES takes its name from ancient osiers that bordered the India Muerta stream, in what is now the lake of the main rice dam of the department, where an attractive mirror of water is formed that slowly unfolds. in the eyes of whoever looks at it, providing an image of tranquility and unforgettable peace.
The establishment has an almost century-old town with thick stone walls and a quinche roof, located on the shore of the lake. It provides accommodation services for up to 6 people, day trips for groups of up to 30 and guided tours of the Cerritos de Indios.
During your stay in LOS MIMBRES you can share the activities of a typical family from the Uruguayan countryside, learn about the rice plantation and the irrigation system for said crop, or tour the improved natural field area for cattle fattening on horseback.
Afternoons of fishing surrounded by native fauna, rafting and horseback riding; typical meals, stoves, bathing in the lake under the full moon... A stay at LOS MIMBRES Casa de Campo promises an experience as enjoyable as you can imagine!
